    OH YOU

⬤ 01. Challenges

Design Challenges

This project involved designing a complete brand book for the Oh You! Design Agency, a university-affiliated creative agency based in Athens, Ohio. The brand book defines the agency’s visual identity, tone of voice, mission, and core design principles—serving as a foundational resource for current and future collaborators.

One key challenge was capturing the agency’s hybrid nature—both professional and academic—while maintaining clarity and consistency. The brand needed to reflect experimentation, flexibility, and community engagement, while remaining structured and easy to follow for both students and outside partners.

⬤ 02. Experience

Project Experience

This project offered a great opportunity to unify multiple aspects of the agency’s visual and verbal identity. It was rewarding to create a system that not only communicates who we are as designers, but also guides future members in maintaining that vision across mediums.

⬤ 03. Process

Project Process

The process began by defining the agency’s tone, voice, and mission. From there, I developed the logo system, typography rules, color usage, and visual applications such as illustration style, writing style, and digital signage. The final brand book presents all elements in a cohesive, accessible format, helping future contributors build on a shared identity.
