Crafty Bus

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s.

It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. ⬤ 01. Challenges

Branding Challenges

The largest challenge I faced with this project was designing for a client that I couldn’t understand exactly what she wanted. I could tell there was a clear demand for a design but I feel it wasn’t communicated clearly enough.

Another challenge was that it was my first time using elementor to design a website so it  took a lot of time to do things that felt like it should be quick and easy to change. The main deliverable and goals of the project included creating a complete website mock and calendar.

The overall design was based on the crafty bus and the logo that was already built. Using colors from the logo and the concept of the bunnies were the main parts incorporated into the design.

We mixed low tech and high magic approaches for creating this new water color based package design. Passion Works artists will create the watercolor artwork for the packaging. The final boxes will be die cut at Passions Works Studios.

⬤ 02. Experience

Branding without guidelines

I really enjoyed putting together and working with the color pallet for Crafty. It went very well with the bus itself and has a very bold color pallet that I enjoyed using to design with.

The client didn’t put too many constrictions on what she wanted so I was able to navigate the designs.

⬤ 03. Process

Fulfilling the mission for Crafty

Started building the site by first asking what the client liked and narrowed it down to one design to build off of. Then created some mock up websites and used feedback to change different aspects. Came back and showed her a few more different mockups for her to really choose which one was her favorite and what could still be changed or added. From there I then found templates that best fit the design from the mockup and had her choose one that went well with it.
