⬤ 01. Challenges

Design Challenges

The largest challenge faced in this project was creating a design that was fun but still in it’s own sense professional, we wanted something that was going to show Plant & Seed Swap as the community and education experience that it provides. We had many challenges on picking the colors, fonts, logo designs, the formatting, meeting times, and, coming to a group consensus. 

We used digital illustration and hand lettering to create this organic design through the work through Affinity and Canva.

⬤ 02. Experience

Balancing fun, professionalism, and readability

We examined the brand guide set in place, along with the guidelines set by our professors we were able to best communicate with our clients through Base Camp and make 4 main designs after our work in meetings, class time, and on my time.

The images below show examples of early concepts and styles that were explored by the design team. These were the blueprint to push us to our final design.

The final step in this process was creating demo and Brand Guide to best show the work, colors, texts, and logos I made for the client.
