Howdy, we’re Oh You! Design Agency, and we want to rethink what it means to be a design agency. The power of branding to be able to tell an organization’s story is clear, but what’s less clear is where to turn when you’re a small business or non-profit. Especially for Appalachian Ohio businesses, figuring out social media posts and website layouts is the last thing you want to worry about when you have an entire business to run. Paying for it though? Even more to worry about with high hourly rates from design agencies.
At Oh You!, we’re just as scrappy and savvy as our clients when it comes to getting stuff done. Based in Athens, Ohio, our design agency specializes in serving small, purpose-driven organizations in Appalachian Ohio, and we are able to offer our clients completely, 100% free design work.
How do we do it?
We are a collective of advanced student designers at Ohio University that want to do real work for real folks. You have the projects and we have the skills.
This is more than just class credit for us; we are a collective of experienced graphic designers that want to use our skill sets meaningfully, beyond the classroom.
The way it works is we find a time that works for our clients during the week; we only ask for 30 minutes of your time virtually, once every other week to really get to know the clients, their organization, and their needs. So, clients donate 30 minutes of their time every other week to meet with us virtually. Projects take place over 12 weeks (or less) with six meetings, and then we deliver their final dream designs. Simple as that!
